Several people, including FC Bruges 'coach Ivan Leko, have been arrested in an investigation targeting players' agents and arranging matches played last season.
One of the files was opened by the Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office for money laundering. The investigation mainly concerns two players agents, Mogi Bayat and Dejan Veljkovic, as well as the clubs with which they have done business.
Two referees were arrested today. The Belgian press announces that a total of ten groupings in the first league have been searched, including FC Bruges, Anderlecht Brussels or Standard Liege.
