Lazio football: backfire for Wesley from Bruges
Two clues are not yet proof, it is true, but they are close to us. Lazio and Wesley Moraes had already sniffed and liked each other during the summer transfer market session. The young Brazilian had even flown to Rome, visited Formello and given his ok.
Then, however, something had jammed between the Bruges, owner of the attacker's card, and the Biancocelesti club, and in the end nothing was done about it: Tare had taken Correa, not really a central point, and Inzaghi had to sketch.
But now the Lazio manager has returned to the fray with the Bruges: Wesley still likes, and even more than last summer. Also because the team is no longer that wonderful goal machine of the last championship - best attack with 89 goals scored, while this year they are only 28 at the halfway point - and a ram like the Brazilian, 1 meter and 91 high, could allow to try different offensive solutions.
The same Wesley presses to play in Italy and Lazio, strong of the liking of the player, works to bring him in the Capital in the next summer session of the transfer market. Landed in Europe in 2015, not even 19 years old, the Brazilian striker was married to the Trencin Slovaks: 8 goals and 5 assists in the mid-season had attracted the attention of the Bruges who had bought him in January 2016 for 1 million euros .
In Belgium Wesley scores, 31 goals, and scores, working from centroboa thanks to his powerful physique. He has international experience having participated several times in the qualifying stages for the European Cups and twice in the group stage of the Champions League. This year he also scored two goals, both at Monaco, and his quotation, which in the last transfer market was around 8 million euros, has now more than doubled to nearly 20 million. But Tare and Lotito do not give up: the hope is to hit the Champions qualification and bring Wesley to Formello in the summer.
